The RFID UHF Short Range Reader – BLUEBOX is a new reading and writing device from the iDTRONIC BLUEBOX series. Industry 4.0 and IoT applications require smart solutions and easy integration. The compact and compact design in the dimensions 12.0 × 12.2 × 3.7 cm is ideal for industrial applications within Logistics, Robotics or Assembly Line Production.
► Interface options for various connectivity options
The RFID UHF Short Range Reader – BLUEBOX has an RS-232 COM interface. This serial port is ideal for interfacing with monitors, point-of-sale terminals, gauges or printers. Furthermore, the device is equipped with an RS-485 interface. The asynchronous serial connection is suitable for data communication over long distances. It represents a bidirectionally usable bus system that can be operated with up to 128 devices on one bus.
► Excellent technical requirements for your applications
The Industrial RFID reader is equipped with the industrial M12 plug connection and has a power supply of 10 – 36 volts. The output line is up to 27 dBm / 500 mW. Performance can be adjusted from 10 dBm in 1 dBm increments. The RFID reader is therefore ideally suited for automation processes in various applications.
► High reading ranges through built-in antenna
The RFID UHF Short Range Reader – BLUEBOX is equipped with an internal antenna. The reader achieves with the antenna a high reading range of up to 3 meters.
► Ultra high frequency for a variety of transponders
The RFID reader is standardly equipped with the UHF Frequency 865 – 868 MHz (ETSI). Optionally, the RFID reader can also be operated with a UHF frequency 902 – 928 MHz (FCC). Both frequencies support the standard ISO 18000-6C (EPC Class 1 Generation 2).
