Christmas is just around the corner and iDTRONIC Professional RFID looks back on a good year full of exciting trade show days and successful product launches.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers and partners for the trust they have placed in us and for the pleasant cooperation.
We would like to use this review of the year as an opportunity to present our highlights from 2022 once again and to give you a brief preview of our plans for 2023.
► REVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS 2022
► Trade Fair Reviews
This year, we were represented at a total of three trade fairs. One of our trade fair highlights was the electronica TradeFair in Munich in November. For the first time, we exhibited here with our embedded RFID modules and RFID mobile computers. The demand and visitor rush were enormous and we were able to get some interesting leads. In June, we were at the embedded world trade fair in Nuremberg with our OEM RFID readers. Also here we exhibited for the first time, focusing on our embedded RFID modules and some RFID readers. At the end of October we were – as in the years before – at the RFID Wireless IoT tomorrow in Wiesbaden. We have been working successfully with RFID WIOT Search for years and also use the network for the targeted publication of press releases or white papers and the placement of advertisements.
► Product Launches & new Features
Thanks to the newly designed hardware, the RFID reader supports over 95% of the currently available HF | NFC transponders with reading ranges of up to 5 cm. The integrated LED display with green signal light indicates the successful detection of RFID tags and transponders.
The RS485 MODBUS or USB interface securely transmits the data to a host system. The RFID wall reader is suitable for employee registration at machines, access authorization to safety-relevant areas or the time recording of working hours of personnel and employees.
The new LEGIC RF standard provides full read and write access for all LEGIC Prime and Advant transponders with Card in Card (CIC) technology of the LEGIC Advant type A. Due to the integrated SM4200 chip it is also able to read UIDs with MIFARE® chip.
Another function is the reading and writing of already segmented LEGIC transponders. Optionally, the RFID reader is also available with an SM4500 chip for additional segmentation and initialization of LEGIC transponders and the generation of master tokens.
The MIFARE® DESFire version now supports RS485 and USB (+HID) interfaces. The powerful and cost-effective OEM RFID reader series for integration into vending machines, medical diagnostic devices or EV charging stations.
The RFID Module supports MIFARE® Classic Mini/1K/4K, Ultralight, Ultralight C, Ultralight Nano, DESFire EV1, DESFire Light, Smart MX, Plus S / X, Pro X, NTAG 21x, NTAG 424 as well as EMxxx or I-Code SLI/SLIX/DNA tag and transponder technologies.
