The RFID HF | NFC Embedded Reader – R840 is an integrated read and write RFID network module with integrated antenna and relay.
It offers plug-and-play support and can be integrated into existing networks and systems.
RFID HF | NFC Embedded Reader – R840 series is available as DESFire, HF, ISO 18000-3 and MIFARE version. The HF and MIFARE versions also feature an Ethernet interface for demanding industry 4.0 applications and WIFI interface for IoT applications. The DESFire version has a PC/SC or USB VCP interface specifically designed for smart card reading. The ISO 18000-3 version is available with a USB VCP interface.
The 13.56 MHz RFID HF | NFC Embedded Reader – R840 series supports ISO 14443A/B and ISO 15693 standards, including
NXP MIFARE Ultralight®, MIFARE® Classic 1K, MIFARE® Classic 4K, I-Code SLI, TI Tag-it HF-I and ISO 18000-3.

A three-colour LED for acoustic and visual signalling is integrated. The Ethernet version has a relay for remote control.
