NFC Reader Modules: Application Areas
The NFC Reader Modules are suitable for different fields of application:
Point-of-care and Healthcare: Security regulations in hospitals or laboratories are extremely important and have the highest priority for staff and patients. It must be ensured that important data concerning patients or the medical facility is treated with absolute confidentiality. Thanks to NFC Reader Modules, only authorized personnel are allowed to view patient or hospital data. In addition, the systems can be used to track the use of medical devices.
EV Chargers: EV mobility has made its way into life and is becoming increasingly important for the future. More and more electric charging columns and charging stations are to be built. To make this feasible for the operators, a perfect interaction of hardware and software is essential. We therefore offer RFID modules with NFC that can be integrated into charging columns/stations. Thanks to this technology, authorized use of the stations is made possible.
Access Control: An RFID-based access control system is usually used for monitoring specific access areas. This can be, for example, a door, a turnstile or an elevator in companies, in parking garages, in fitness studios, hotels, etc. To make this possible, access control products with NFC modules are used.
Industry 4.0: In order to optimize the manufacturing process of products or components, the system must be able to control itself, i.e. information must be exchanged autonomously with individual products and product groups. Thanks to NFC Reader Module, complete automation of production processes is possible.
Ticketing: With NFC reader modules, ticketing becomes a cost-effective and resource-saving alternative to print tickets. Tickets via NFC technology can be checked contactless and several times via smartphone.
